A note on the edition.

NoMoreQuiet — Through the Years. From the first “no” to a quiet old age.

First edition — working version 0.5, October 2026.

This is a reading and editing version, not for printing in this form. It was written in parts on purpose. Separate files for the parts and the appendices mean each part can be changed without touching the rest.

What is still missing before it goes to people:

• The author's own scenes — one in each part. That is the only thing the book lacks, and the only thing that cannot be written in place of the author.
• Proofreading by reading aloud. Anything that cannot be said — rewrite it. About twenty per cent of the sentences will go. The book will be better.
• Checking the examples. Do we really say it like that, or does it sound like a translation?
• The format. Proposal: A5, around 150–160 pages, serif, no illustrations except the cover.
• The cover and the edition name.
• An answer to one question: does the book appear under the author's name, or as a NoMoreQuiet publication? That changes everything else.

For those who reached the end: thank you for reading.

The book changes nothing. It only shows where you are. The change is yours — and that is the only good news in the whole book. It means it is in the hands closest to you.
