AI Arhitekta (NMQ Cursor)

Self-hosted, air-gapped AI coding agent

The problem

Every AI coding assistant sends your code to someone else's server. For a bank, a ministry, a law firm or a hospital that is not an option. I wanted a Cursor-class agent that runs on the machine it edits — local models, no cloud fallback, and a hard limit on which tools it may call.

The solution

AI Arhitekta is a full coding agent, not a chat wrapper: an Electron desktop app and a browser IDE share one engine — a streaming agent loop that plans, calls tools from a whitelist, reads and writes files, runs commands and reports back.

The part that matters to a regulated buyer is the boundary: the tool whitelist decides what the agent may touch, the auth layer (JWT plus API keys) decides who may ask, and air-gap mode removes the cloud entirely so the code never leaves the machine it sits on.

It is built to be handed over: workspaces and skills are configuration, the agent loop is readable, and the repository carries 30 test files. About 110,000 lines are my own code across 294 files; the larger total includes vendored Monaco and ffmpeg documentation.

Verifiable proof

Each item is checkable — a command, a public URL, or a number measured on the live system.

  • ~110,000 lines of own code across 294 files (392,198 lines total, including vendored Monaco and ffmpeg docs)
  • 30 test files in the repository
  • Electron desktop + web IDE (Monaco), one shared engine
  • Air-gap mode: no cloud fallback — code never leaves the machine
  • Auth with JWT and API keys; agent loop with a tool whitelist
  • NMQ Cursor v2.0.0 installed and running
