Who writes to you

About me.

I am Dejan Milošević. I write letters to people who are stuck — and I write them myself, by hand, slowly.

I live in Belgrade. I have worked with people for over twenty years — in conversations, in counselling, in courses — and I learned something I would not have believed before: people do not say the most important thing when you ask them. They say it when you give them time.

Why letters and not conversations

A conversation lasts an hour. A letter lasts seven days. In an hour, a person says what he has prepared. In a letter he writes at two in the morning the sentence he would not say to anyone.

And a second reason, more practical: in a conversation you have to hold yourself together. You see the other person's face, you do not want to cry, you do not want to sound foolish. Not when writing. When writing you can be honest, because nobody is watching — and that is exactly the moment it becomes useful.

That is why there are no calls, no video, no appointments. Not for convenience. Because the form is the work.

What I learned

My way into this work was accidental, and I tell it at length in the book.

Short version: I met a man who spoke at my pace, sat the way I sat and used my words — and I was ready to say "yes" before I had heard what to. After that I started reading, to understand what had happened to me.

That became NLP: Practitioner, Master Practitioner, eighteen hours of video, twenty-five workbooks, seven years of practice. And one sentence I needed a year for:

NLP is not a technique. NLP is a way of looking.

What I am: NLP Master Practitioner. Author. Letter writer.

What I am not: a therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist or doctor. I give no diagnoses and treat nothing.

Where I work: Belgrade, Serbia. In English, German and Serbian.

Why the letters are short

My answers are one to three pages. Not because I have little to say — because a ten-page letter nobody reads. And because you do not show a person five patterns at once: he takes none of them with him.

One pattern. One question. One step. That is the whole method. Whoever wants more comes back.

Why it is called NoMoreQuiet

Because I believe most people do not stay silent because they have nothing to say. They stay silent because once, they said what they thought, and the answer was: "you're exaggerating."

After that you go quiet. For years.

The name is not an instruction to be loud. It is permission to write down, once, exactly what you do not say.

What you can expect — and what not

You can expect: that I read your letter twice. That I answer even when it is uncomfortable. That I do not flatter. That I am on time, or tell you in advance.

You cannot expect: that I tell you everything will be fine. That I confirm your decisions. That I give a diagnosis. That I am always available — I am a person, not a platform.

The most honest sentence I can say about my work: I do not change a life. I look with you at where you stand — and you walk on from there. That sounds small. It is more than most people ever get.
